Paris Ass Book Fair
16—18 mars 2018
Palais de Tokyo
Paris Ass Book Fair brings together a range of artists, booksellers and publishers of art books, artists’ books and fanzines, all of whom approach print as a medium in its own right. Publications can take on a wide range of formats: fanzines, books, clothes, comics, etc. What they share is a desire to explore taboos, sex and gender – and all of their representations and troubles – as playful, poetic and political subjects.
Paris Ass Book Fair is an international event that brings together publishers, booksellers and artists from Europe and beyond.
Paris Ass Book Fair is a queer fair in that it is:
• A safe space for queers
• A space open to diversity
• A space where lovers of books and fanzines can meet and share their passion and their experiences.
Paris Ass Book Fair is a meeting place for artists, publishers, booksellers and amateurs that looks to stimulate exchange and creativity in a spirit of openness, inventiveness and mutual respect.
The second edition of Paris Ass Book Fair will take place at the Palais de Tokyo between 16 and 18 March 2018.
The fair will bring together forty or so publishers, booksellers and artists, and include a cultural programme featuring talks, workshops, performances and projections (complete programme to be announced at a later date).
Entry to the fair is free.
